The USS Discovery does not appear in this book. None of the crew from the USS Discovery make any appearances here either. I should mention that I listened to this as an audio book from Scribd, which I have no complaints about at all, I like their system and suggest it to anyone that’s able to listen to audio books. I only did this because I was talking multiple 12 hours long car trips in a week and figured I’d have time to listen to the book, but it turned out the book was much longer than the trips we took. The narrator was very professional, but I didn’t care for the voices that they used. The story was ok, but as I complained above, there was zero connection with Discovery, so that was bitterly disappointing to me.
