It says it’s the final mission, but i’m pretty sure we’ve seen a few other “final missions” for the TOS crew. I did enjoy this story, it has some real classic science fiction elements to it, with an abandoned planetship being run by a society of giant spiders. One unrelated note, I bought this at a convention in a “whole story pack” where they sell you the entire series of single issues in one bundle, which you can’t open to inspect. I got issues 1-4 of the series, only to find out that there was one more missing issue. I was able to read it online, but man that sorta steamed me a little bit.
