David Mack has announced a new set of essays about Trek, this one’s going to be about “the profession of writing Star Trek tie-ins, and the fine line that separates officially licensed fiction from fan fiction, and what those distinctions mean (and also do NOT mean).” The book is currently scheduled to be published sometime in 2024.
