This week’s interview is with Michael Dismuke who has his first Star Trek fiction printed in Star Trek Explorer #11 and is going to be included in the upcoming compilation Star Trek Explorer: A Year to the Day That I Saw Myself Die and Other Stories due out on October 1, 2024. It’s not his first writing effort though, with plenty of other content already out there for you to enjoy, specifically on Continuing Mission.
The conversation runs about an hour and we discuss his Continuing Conversation podcast that covers all things STA and recent had a three part series with a play through of a mission with some familiar faces. We shared our mutual appreciation for good clean stories that don’t have to rely on violence or extreme content and touched on how the unseen is scarier than showing everything on the screen, regardless of how great the graphics are.
His next Trek work is a starter pack that was just announced, you’ll be able to find it on the Modiphius website soon enough. I’m not at all familiar with how to play STA, so this feels like something that will be right up my alley.
