Benjamin Svetkey is a writer and editor who, while working for the Entertainment Weekly magazine, wrote a behind-the-scenes story, titled “Infiltrating Deep Space Nine”, in 1992 and appeared as a background alien, a Pelian male, in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot episode “Emissary”.
