Chris Lipscombe (Klingon name: qurgh lungqIj, born ±1978 (1)) is an experienced Klingonist working on many projects and websites. He holds the KLCP rank of ghojwI’ (intermediate). He chose his Klingon name qurgh, meaning beans, because he is a fan of “Mr. Bean”. He is also a member of the Klingon Assault Group (KAG) and runs a large Klingon language website called tlhIngan Hol ‘ampaS (Klingon Language Academy).

He was inducted into the order of the Friends of Maltz at qep’a’ in 2016 for his work on the Klingon Language Institute’s website.
