David Tepool
(October 20, 1954 - May 28, 2009)David F. Tepool was a game designer that was one of the co-designers of the FASA Star Trek: The Role Playing Game system in the 1980s, along with Guy W. McLimore, Jr. and Greg K. Poehlein. He was also the creator of the Star Trek: Starship Tactical Combat Simulator.
He retired from game design at the same time that McLimore and Poehlein created the MicroTactix company, but in the mid-2000s, ran Olde Rivertowne Miniatures, a mail-order firm in Indiana.
During the 1980s, he worked primarily for FASA, but also did some work for TSR, including a collaboration with McLimore and Poehlein on a portion of the Castle Greyhawk set.
