Loren L. Coleman is a Star Trek author. He was born in Longview, Washington, and currently lives in that state with his wife Heather and his children. He served in the United States Navy for five years.

All of his literary work is in the field of tie-ins. He has produced novels based around the character Conan the Barbarian, as well as Magic: The Gathering, and ones set in the Mechwarrior and Battletech universes.
