Malachi Ward is an illustrator, cartoonist and writer working in Los Angeles. With longtime collaborator Matt Sheean he is drawing Black Hammer Reborn, written by Jeff Lemire. Malachi is also the co-creator of the graphic novel Ancestor with Matt Sheean from Image Comics, named one of the best comics of 2016 by io9. Malachi has done comic work for AdHouse Books, Boom, Dark Horse, Fantagraphics, Oni, and IDW. He has also created illustrations for Wired, NoBrow, and The New York Times. Malachi designed backgrounds for Netflix’s CentaurWorld and is currently drawing backgrounds for the upcoming Netflix animated series Captain Fall.
