Salvatore A. “Sal” Trapani, brother in law to Dick Giordano, began his comics career in 1949. He moved around through various companies, including DC Comics, the American Comic Group, and Gold Key. In 1981, he worked for Marvel Comics’ Star Trek line inking #16 “There’s No Space Like Gnomes’!” and #18 “A Thousand Deaths”.
