Peter David’s New Frontier books were the first Star Trek novels not based on a television show or film series. Captain Mackenzie Calhoun and his officers were sent to aid the citizens of the fallen Thallonian Empire in rebuilding their society following a popular uprising.

This volume presents two comic book tie-ins published to complement those novels: New Frontier: Double Time, a graphic novel from WildStorm, as well as IDW’s five-issue miniseries, New Frontier: Turnaround.
