DC Comics’ monthly Star Trek run returns for new adventures, with fan-favorite Peter David once more at the helm.

In 1988, DC’s acclaimed Star Trek comics met an abrupt end after only 56 issues, to the heartbreak of long-time readers who’d adored the publisher’s approach and the original characters its writers had added to the cast.

A year later, DC offered new voyages for the USS Enterprise, from writer Peter David, artists James W. Fry and Arne Starr, and editor Robert Greenberger. This volume collects issues #1–6, in which James Kirk’s actions have dire consequences.
