Stealth Ship was utilised for covert operations by the undercover security organisation, Section 31. It easily avoided detection by masking its warp signature and using a cloaking device to disguise the ship in the shape of another object.

This fantastic Star Trek die-cast model ship captures this Stealth Ship as seen in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. It has a triangular form of the main hull which was flanked by two warp nacelles on pylons. The dark colour of the ship helps it to stay invisible to other vessels and reflects the mysterious nature of Section 31.
