The U.S.S. Bonaventure NCC-1000 was created by visual effects artist Aristomenis ‘Meni’ Tsirbas for the 2006 Ships of the Line calendar, conceiving it as an intermediate stage between the NX-01 from Enterprise and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from The Original Series. Tsirbas also contributed some of the backstories on the ship, making it the first ship with the NCC designation – NCC-1000 – and the first exploratory starship of the newly formed United Federation of Planets.

This model is die-cast, hand-painted, and comes with an in-depth magazine featuring product artwork and highlighting the ship’s history and design.
