“We the people of Earth greet you in a spirit of peace and humanity”… The next bonus edition of the Star Trek Official Starships Collection features the Friendship 1 a probe that was sent on a mission to find other species.

Friendship 1 (UESPA-1) was an automated deep-space probe launched by the United Earth Space Probe Agency in 2067 following the first contact with the Vulcans. U.S.S. Voyager was tasked with uncovering the fate of the space probe 130 years after its last contact with Earth. The probe was equipped with technological, scientific and cultural information to inform any lifeforms on how to design communication arrays.

This Friendship 1 model carefully recreates the ship seen in Star Trek: Voyager episode “Friendship One”. It captures the probe’s cylinder shape with a large dish antenna at the front and two warp nacelles on both sides.
