Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection Mirror #4 S.S. Yorktown NCC-1717

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, we proudly present the starship that Gene Roddenberry first pitched for Star Trek: The Original Series from 1964. The ship was to be called the S.S. Yorktown NCC-1717 but was changed to U.S.S. Enterprise. This Star Trek starship is strictly limited-edition, released at New York Comic Con.

Based on Gene Roddenberry’s original concept, this model has been carefully researched, painted with extraordinary detail, and comes with its own presentation stand.

Notes

  • This might be the only release in the entire 200+ spaceship series that didn't ship with a magazine.
