In the years 1996-1997 he attended the School of Comics “Nuova Eloise” in Bologna, but he was a self-taught artist at least. When he was 4 years old, looking at a comic book, he decided that he would be a comic drawer, and not an astronaut or a firearm like other children.
He is fascinated by the cartoon style that has exploded in the recent years and he looks daily on the internet for new inspiration sources becauses he thinks it’s important to continue to study everyday to improve his style.
He works digitally, but he’ll remain a secret lover of the pencil and he doesn’t move without a sketchbook in his bag, so he can draw everything that he sees and thinks.
He has created artwork and characters for publishers, advertising, video and role-playing games, and worked as a colorist for the French market with publishers like Soleil, Delcourt and Dargaud. He worked as an inker for Marvel USA on the comics IRONMAN MARVEL ADVENTURE, ADVENTURE MARVEL THE AVENGERS and DAKEN.
In 2011, along with other italian artists, he founded the cultural association Dr.INK which self-produces illustration books.
He is currently one of the artists for Scooby Doo in Italy for Piemme Edizioni and he works for the U.S.on several books with Warner Bros Characters, including Scooby Doo.
He is the Character designer Teacher of the Animation course of the Scuola Internazionale di Comics of Reggio Emilia
